Every patient begins with a thorough consultation with one of our experienced dermatologists. During this appointment, we will:
Review your medical history and discuss any underlying conditions.
Examine the area of concern to confirm the diagnosis.
Discuss your treatment options and outline the Mohs Surgery process.

The Mohs Surgery procedure is performed with precision to ensure the complete removal of cancerous cells while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible.
The process begins by removing a thin layer of tissue from the affected area with a scalpel.
Each tissue layer is meticulously examined under a microscope to check for cancer cells.
This process is repeated layer by layer until the surgical site is entirely free of cancer.
This method ensures the highest success rate for removing skin cancer while minimizing the impact on surrounding tissue.
Once the surgical site is clear of all cancer cells:
The wound may be left open to heal naturally, or the surgeon may close it with stitches, depending on the size and location.
You will receive detailed aftercare instructions to promote healing and minimize scarring.
A follow-up appointment will be scheduled to monitor your recovery and ensure proper healing.
