Dr. Jessica M. Farahi, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for children and adults. She provides comprehensive dermatologic care with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach, tailoring treatment to each patient’s needs, goals, and lifestyle.

Dr. Farahi believes in treating the whole patient and takes the time to understand the individual behind the skin condition. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with particular interests in acne, hair loss, skin cancer prevention, and aesthetic dermatology. She combines current medical evidence with clinical experience to develop individualized treatment plans that are both effective and realistic.

Originally from New York, Dr. Farahi graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in Biology and Nutritional Sciences. She earned her medical degree with honors from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Nevada, Reno, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado.

Her academic interests have included skin cancer prevention, hair disorders, and evidence-based dermatologic therapies. She has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Farahi serves as a Medical Advisor to Asterwood Beauty, contributing her dermatologic expertise to product development, ingredient evaluation, and consumer education. She is also sought out for her dermatology expertise by beauty, lifestyle, and broadcast media, with recent expert commentary in Who What Wear and appearances on 9NEWS Denver.

Dr. Farahi is passionate about making dermatology approachable and helping patients navigate an increasingly complex skincare landscape with science, clinical expertise, and individualized care. Outside of dermatology, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors in Colorado.
